GYROKINESIS® exercises takes the spine through a journey of opening, strengthening, and meditation. It was the inspiration which later led to the development of the GYROTONIC® equipment. GYROKINESIS® exercises are an accessible way of reaping the benefits of yoga, tai chi, ballet, and gymnastics without injury, confusion, or loss of focus and understanding. This class will use dumbbell weights to stretch and strengthen the body. Please have a variety of dumbbell weights ranging from 2-10 lbs. Please have a stool and yoga mat as well.
